Recruitment Resourcer Location: Barlborough, S43 Department: Head Office Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Making it easy. Recruitment is all about people. Finding the right person for the right job, building relationships and helping businesses grow. At OBR Group , our purpose is simple: Making it easy. We work closely with businesses to understand who they need and then find the right people for their teams. We don't just look through CVs and send them over. We speak to people, get to know their experience and understand what they're looking for in their next career move. We're growing, and we're looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to join our team. Never worked in recruitment before? That's absolutely fine! We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and the confidence to speak to people. What does a Recruitment Resourcer actually do? Your job will be to find people who could be a good fit for the jobs our clients are looking to fill. You'll work closely with our Recruitment Consultants, who manage relationships with our clients, to understand what each business needs and find suitable candidates. A big part of your role will involve researching, using LinkedIn and job boards to find potential candidates and picking up the phone to speak to them. You'll learn how to spot the right experience, ask good questions and build relationships with people who might be interested in a new opportunity. You'll also keep in touch with candidates, organise interviews and help make sure everyone has a positive experience throughout the recruitment process. What will you be doing day to day? Finding people: Using LinkedIn, job boards and other tools to find people with the skills and experience our clients need. Writing candidate CVs and profiles: Putting together clear, professional CVs and candidate summaries to highlight people's experience, skills and suitability for a role. Posting jobs online: Advertising vacancies on job boards to attract people who may be interested in the opportunities we are recruiting for. Researching businesses: Learning about different companies and understanding where the right candidates might be working. Making phone calls: Speaking to people about their current jobs, experience and what they might want from their next move. Building relationships: Getting to know candidates and keeping in touch, even if they're not looking for a new job right now. Understanding people: Asking questions about their skills, experience, salary expectations and career goals. Matching people to jobs: Working with our consultants to identify candidates who could be right for a vacancy. Writing messages: Contacting potential candidates with friendly, personalised messages rather than sending the same message to everyone. Organising interviews: Helping arrange interviews and keeping candidates updated. Keeping records up to date: Recording conversations and candidate details on our CRM system so the team has the information it needs. Learning your markets: Getting to know the industries and companies we work with and becoming more confident in your role over time. No two days will be exactly the same. You'll be researching, talking to people, solving problems and learning something new. What kind of person are we looking for? You don't need to have worked in recruitment before. We're much more interested in your attitude, personality and willingness to learn. You might be a great fit if you are: Confident talking to people, whether face-to-face or over the phone. Curious and interested in learning about different people and careers. Comfortable asking questions and having conversations. Organised and able to manage a few different tasks at once. Persistent when something doesn't go to plan. Motivated by achieving goals and seeing the results of your work. Comfortable using a computer and willing to learn new systems. A good communicator who can build relationships. Positive, resilient and keen to develop. Someone who takes pride in doing a good job and supporting their team. What if you've never worked in recruitment? We'd love to hear from people with experience in sales, customer service, HR, administration, hospitality or other people-focused roles. Perhaps you enjoy speaking to customers, solving problems, building relationships or working towards targets. These are all skills that can transfer into recruitment. We'll teach you how to find candidates, conduct candidate calls, use our systems and understand the recruitment process. You don't need to know everything on day one. You just need to be ready to learn. The kind of person who thrives at OBR You don't need to know everything about recruitment when you join us. We can teach you the skills, systems and processes. What matters most is your attitude. We're looking for someone who is curious, hardworking, confident enough to pick up the phone and willing to keep going when things get challenging. Someone who cares about people, wants to do things properly and is excited to build a career. If you're ready to learn, develop and be part of a growing team, we'd love to hear from you.
