We are currently working with an established and growing environmental consultancy seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to support continued expansion across the South of the UK. This opportunity is ideal for a qualified and self-motivated surveyor with a minimum of two years' industry experience and a strong understanding of current asbestos surveying standards and best practice. The successful candidate will work across a diverse portfolio of clients including housing providers, public sector organisations, healthcare facilities, construction companies and commercial businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct asbestos surveys across domestic, commercial and industrial properties.
  • Undertake Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, tenants and site representatives.
  • Collect and record site data using tablet-based systems.
  • Produce accurate electronic site plans and documentation.
  • Ensure samples, records and supporting information are submitted within required timescales.
  • Carry out quality checks before report submission.
  • Provide guidance and support to trainee surveyors when required.

Essential Requirements

  • BOHS P402 or RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Surveying.
  • Minimum of 2 years' asbestos surveying experience.
  • Strong knowledge of current legislation, industry guidance and best practice.
  • Experience producing accurate digital reports and survey documentation.
  • Good IT skills with experience using tablet-based software.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
