Pay: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience

Our client is seeking a meticulous and practical individual to join our quality team in Warwick as a Pre-Delivery Inspector. In this role, you'll be responsible for making sure every vehicle produced is checked thoroughly before it reaches the customer, helping maintain the high standards our team is known for.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carrying out quality checks during production, including verifying torque levels and assessing hydraulic pressures
  • Running systematic tests on each vehicle following the established inspection process
  • Ensuring vehicles meet all customer requirements before they are released
  • Logging inspection findings, build details, and any issues for review and improvement
  • Working collaboratively with manufacturing staff to maintain and promote quality best practices
  • Contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives by providing accurate data and feedback

What We're Looking For

  • Good understanding of vehicle mechanics, whether from light vehicles or HGVs
  • Previous experience in vehicle inspection or building specialist vehicles would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with hydraulics and general quality procedures
  • Ability to stay organised, work within set timescales, and adapt when priorities shift
  • A positive attitude, willingness to gain new skills, and ability to work well with others
  • Any mechanical qualifications, an HGV licence, or tachograph experience would be beneficial
  • Comfortable working in a busy production setting
  • A full driving licence and openness to occasional overtime are desirable
