Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install mechanical components in line with engineering specifications
- Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems to support production requirements
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings and technical instructions
- Use hand tools and power tools to carry out fitting and assembly work
- Work closely with electrical fitters and other production teams to complete builds
- Follow production schedules and contribute to meeting build targets
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety at all times
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Assembly Operative, or similar hands on mechanical role
- Skilled in hydraulic fitting and general mechanical assembly
- Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Previous experience working with vehicles is highly desirable
- Relevant fitting qualifications or training in hydraulics/pneumatics (advantageous)
