Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Coventry Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Responsibilities * Produce accurate 2D fabrication and assembly drawings. * Review and prepare drawing documentation. * Develop technical documentation in line with departmental procedures. * Provide technical support internally and externally. * Maintain internal record systems and drawing logs. * Conduct site visits and surveys for new projects. Candidate Profile & Benefits * Proven experience in Mechanical Engineering (Degree, HNC, A-Level, or equivalent). * Proficient in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and drawing. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to commute (Full UK driving licence preferred). * Knowledge of industry standards and regulations. * Familiarity with AutoCAD/Draftsight. * Understanding of manufacturing processes (welding, steel fabrication). * Experience with industrial pipework (flanges, fittings). * Ability to survey and measure accurately. * Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (4:30pm Fridays). * 21 days holiday + statutory bank holidays (additional days with service). * Company pension scheme. * On-site parking.
