Hours: Monday - Friday days only

Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 (Depending on experience) + Overtime Opportunities

Overtime: Paid door-to-door 1.5x anything over contracted hours (Mon–Fri) 2x on weekends (Nationwide Travel Required, overnight stays 1–3 nights per week on average)

The Role:

This is a mobile position involving travel to customer sites, carrying out installation, servicing, breakdowns, maintenance, and fault-finding on a range of specialist equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, repair, install, and maintain specialist equipment across multiple locations
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive breakdowns
  • Fault-find on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Complete accurate job sheets, reports, and all relevant documentation
  • Work independently to manage your schedule and workload effectively
  • Support project-based installations when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar hands-on engineering role
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel nationwide with overnight stays (1–3 nights per week)
