From £19.00ph - £24.00ph. Days or night shifts to choose from with options for a 4-day working week (Monday - Thursday).

We are currently recruiting for a number of experienced CNC Machinists on behalf of several well-established engineering and manufacturing companies across Sheffield and the surrounding areas. Opportunities are available for skilled CNC Turners, CNC Millers, and Vertical/Horizontal Borers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting and operating large CNC machinery
  • Machining castings, forgings, and fabrications to tight tolerances
  • Working with a variety of materials including carbon steel, duplex, stainless steel, copper, and titanium
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Using precision measuring equipment to ensure high-quality standards are met
  • Carrying out on-machine programming where required

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a heavy engineering or precision machining environment
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining processes
  • Ability to work independently and from technical drawings
  • Experience machining large components and working to tight tolerances
  • Flexible and reliable approach to work
