A leading UK engineering company is looking to expand its field engineering team. The role involves delivering planned and reactive engineering solutions across a wide range of mechanical and electrical depot systems. Due to continued growth, the company is seeking a hands‑on Field Service Engineer to support maintenance activities across the Midlands, South and South‑East regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, install and maintain depot plant equipment including:
  • Production machinery
  • Motors, gearboxes & three-phase equipment
  • Electrical control systems
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown work
  • Diagnose and fault‑find on mechanical and electrical systems
  • Complete accurate job reports and service documentation
  • Work independently across multiple sites while representing the business professionally
  • Support project‑based installation work when required
  • Location & Travel

    Location: UK Wide (Typically Midlands & South). Overnight stays typically 1–3 nights per week depending on project and location.

    Salary / Overtime Rates

    Up to £45,000 + overtime opportunities paid door to door

    • 1.5x – Weekdays and Saturdays
    • 2x – Sundays

    £25 subsistence per night

    26 days holiday + bank holidays
