We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to develop and manage client relationships The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining existing customer accounts and delivering tailored solutions across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers.

Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking and referrals.

Build long-term relationships with customers by understanding their requirements and long term goals.

Prepare quotations, negotiate rates and close sales opportunities.

Coordinate with operations, transport and engineering teams to ensure equipment is delivered and collected on time.

Conduct regular customer visits and site surveys where required.

Ensure customers receive appropriate equipment recommendations.

Respond promptly to customer enquiries and resolve any issues professionally.

Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity.

Achieve monthly and annual sales and profitability targets.

Build and deliver a sales forecast for new and existing customers.

Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.

Promote additional products and services Skills & Experience Essential Previous experience in account management, sales, or business development.

Strong customer relationship management skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Commercial awareness and ability to identify sales opportunities.

Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Experience within plant hire, tool hire and construction equipment hire.

Understanding of industry related equipment.

Knowledge of industries such as medical, construction, infrastructure, events, utilities or facilities management.
