Wage is based on level of experience brought to the role from £33,000 - £43,000.
We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in automotive and engineering products with a strong attention to detail. We are offering the role as a full-time position; however, part-time could be considered for an exceptional candidate. Full-time working hours are 08:30 - 17:00 / Monday to Friday.
You will play a key role in helping us continue to achieve the known quality in our products to our worldwide customers across the motorsport, automotive, and engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- TIG Welding of aluminium to high quality standards
- Perform visual inspections and dimensional checks to ensure quality and tolerance compliance
- Maintain safe working practices in line with company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Operate & maintain fabrication and welding equipment to a good working order
- Complete time and quality production sheets accurately
- Minimum 4 years experience in TIG welding aluminium
- Strong knowledge of welding standards and practice
- Background in engineering
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Interest in automotive, motorsport, or engineering environments
- High attention to detail with a commitment to producing clean, consistent welds
- Ability to use your own initiative
- Full UK driving licence
