Join Our Team as a Site Operative – Keep Operations Safe, Efficient, and Compliant!
Are you hands-on, safety-focused, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Site Operative to support our hazardous waste processing and logistics operations in Aberdeen.
What You’ll Do:
Operate site equipment (including forklifts, pumps, and air tools)
Clean, inspect, and maintain reusable containers
Accurately input and manage data in company systems
Perform site tasks safely and efficiently following SOPs and TBRAs
Deliver service in line with KPIs and work instructions (LSC-TBT)
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site safety
Support value-adding activities as directed by Site Chemist or Supervisor
Engage in safety reviews (SOP, TBRA, MHRA) and continuous improvement
What You’ll Need:
Valid forklift certificate
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious work ethic
Good understanding of hazardous waste site safety
Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
Nice to Have:
Experience handling waste and hazardous chemicals
First Aid or Fire Warden certification
IOSH training
Awareness of Manual Handling, COSHH, Dangerous Goods & Oil Spills
Vehicle Banksman/Spotter and Ready4Road training
