Our client is seeking a Commercial Advisor to coordinate all UK commercial and contractual matters – including proposals, new contracts, amendments, escalations, and renewals – ensuring seamless processes and excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary contact for clients on all commercial and contractual matters; attend meetings on- and off-site.
- Shape commercial strategy for assigned clients and secure internal approvals.
- Prepare and issue proposals for new and additional work scopes.
- Negotiate, draft, and review new contracts, extensions, variation orders, and amendments.
- Maintain centralised contract records, rate schedules, and escalation notifications.
- Provide commercial guidance across internal teams and support audits.
- Assist with business performance reviews, trade agreements, and standard rate issuance.
- Support sales and tendering activities, including purchase order review and system updates.
- Maintain commercial databases and ensure all proposals/escalations are logged.
- Perform general administrative duties and support specialist services as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven commercial experience in the oil & gas sector.
- Strong understanding of contracts, financial interpretation, and negotiation.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
- Advanced Excel and strong MS Office skills.
- Self-motivated with initiative, ownership, and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
