Help build the growth engine of an AI startup lab - working shoulder to shoulder with the founders. This is a broad, hands‑on growth role for someone early in their career who wants to learn how startups actually grow, by doing it across the board. You will work directly with Andrew, one of our founders, on everything from audience to outbound to the resources that win consulting clients. If you want the widest possible apprenticeship in startup growth, this is it.

About Objective0: Nick and Andrew are serial founders building Objective0: the AI startup lab that helps founders work out the right thing to build, then build it. We publish, research, build and advise: an app, a newsletter (o0 Letter), the Core & Explore® methodology, a fast‑growing founder following, and Andrew's first book on the way. We are at roughly 25k followers, going for 100k, then a million. This role helps us get there, and helps us launch the product.

The role involves:

  • Helping grow our audience across channels
  • Driving new users to our app
  • General growth activities like prioritising growth experiments, running growth experiments, then feeding back on learnings
  • Building lead magnets that pull the right people in
  • Building little automations on LinkedIn, or over sales outreach
  • Preparing the resources that help us win and serve customers
  • Thinking about the product, and how growth and product feed each other

A lot of this runs on AI: you will build workflows and automations that make every task faster. The real skill we are hiring for is judgement: someone who can ruthlessly generate every idea for the backlog, work out which ones are actually worth doing, and run them as growth hypotheses – test, learn, and double down on what works.

Who you are:

  • You want a career in startups, and you are genuinely curious about how they grow
  • You are super smart and you figure things out, with no one holding your hand
  • You are fluent with AI and automation, and you use it to move faster
  • You think in priorities: you can look at a long list of ideas and tell us which three actually matter
  • You communicate clearly and you are happy getting your hands dirty across a broad, messy remit

Details:

  • London preferred, but open to remote for exceptional candidates (the founders are in London and Lisbon)
  • Flexible salary plus equity
  • Real room to grow as you take on more
  • Trained and mentored directly by the founders, working closely with Andrew

How we work: Direct. We say what we think and skip the diplomacy. We say "no" more than "yes". We take the mission seriously, not ourselves. Work‑life balance is real and boundaries are respected.

Meet the founders:

  • Andrew Crump – co‑founder. A startup operator who built and exited in Silicon Valley, then spent years helping founders and VCs run better. He turned that into the Core & Explore® methodology and is writing his first book, Startup OKRs.
  • Nick Black – co‑founder and product lead. A serial founder who exited his last company and runs a deep‑tech consulting firm advising a handful of clients a year. One of the sharpest product minds you will meet.

How to apply: Apply through our application form. You will answer a few short questions, share your LinkedIn, and tell us a bit about you.
