Run growth at an AI startup lab - hands on, end to end, with the founders. This is a mid-senior, do-it-yourself growth role for an operator who has grown real things in a startup environment and can prove it. You will work directly with Andrew, one of our founders, across the full spread of growth: audience, outbound, lead magnets, the resources that win consulting clients, and the product itself. We are not looking for someone to write decks about growth. We want someone who builds the machine and ships.
About Objective0: Nick and Andrew are serial founders building Objective0: the AI startup lab that helps founders work out the right thing to build, then build it. We publish, research, build and advise: an app, a newsletter (o0 Letter), the Core & Explore methodology, a fast-growing founder following, and Andrew's first book on the way. We are at roughly 25k followers, going for 100k, then a million. This role gets us there, and helps us launch the product.
The role: You will own growth experiments end to end, working directly with Andrew:
- Growing our audience across channels, with numbers to show for it.
- Making our message resonate with founders.
- Building lead magnets that pull the right people in.
- Running outbound sales outreach and growth experiments to create users for our app.
- Thinking about the product, and how growth and product compound.
- Ruthlessly prioritising the bets that will move us forward.
The way you work matters as much as what you do. You build your own AI and automation workflows to get more done with less. You generate every idea for the backlog, ruthlessly prioritise the few that matter, run them as hypotheses, and chase outcomes, not outputs. You finish what you start.
Who you are: You have grown real things, with numbers. You can point to results you drove and explain exactly what you did to get them and your process behind it. You build with AI. You have put AI and automation into your actual work, ideally tools you built yourself, and you can show the results. You have operated in startups. Deep startup experience; you know growth frameworks and use them; you prioritise hard and run things to completion. You are smart and resourceful. You figure things out and get a lot done with no one holding your hand.
Details: London preferred, but open to remote for exceptional candidates (the founders are in London and Lisbon). You do not have to be in the office - although we do have one in Kings Cross. Full time role. Flexible salary plus equity. You will work closely with Andrew, with real autonomy from day one.
How we work: Direct. We say what we think and skip the diplomacy. We say "no" more than "yes". We take the mission seriously, not ourselves. Work-life balance is real and boundaries are respected.
Meet the founders: Andrew Crump (you would work with him directly) - co-founder. A startup operator who built and exited in Silicon Valley, then spent years helping founders and VCs run better. He created the Core & Explore methodology and is writing his first book, Startup OKRs. Nick Black - co-founder and product lead. A serial founder who exited his last company and runs a deep-tech consulting firm advising a handful of clients a year. One of the sharpest product minds you will meet.
How to apply: Apply through our application form. You will share real results you have driven, answer a few short questions, and tell us a bit about you.
