Learn to build an audience from founders who have done it while running the content engine of an AI startup lab. Nick and Andrew are serial founders building Objective0: the AI startup lab that helps founders work out the right thing to build, then build it. We publish, research, build and advise: an app, a newsletter (o0 Letter), the Core & Explore® methodology, a fast-growing founder following, and Andrew's first book on the way. We are at roughly 25k followers, going for 100k, then a million.
This is a junior, hands-on seat for a sharp, content-native person near the start of their career. You will be the engine room of our content: turning founder conversations into newsletters, posts and clips, and learning the craft of audience-building directly from two people who have done it before. Think of how a founder's associate learns to build product, but for content and growth. Get great, and this grows fast. You do not need years of experience. You need to be smart, genuinely into startups, already fluent with AI, and someone who figures stuff out without being told how.
What you'll do:
- Produce the day-to-day content (o0 Letter, LinkedIn, Substack, clips) in the founders' voices and on time.
- Turn one founder conversation into a week of content, with AI doing the grunt work and your judgement on top.
- Run small experiments, look at what worked, and feed the learnings back in.
- Build automations and AI workflows to make the end-to-end production cycle of content faster.
- Muck in across content and growth: this is a generalist seat.
Who you are:
- You care about startups. You want a career in this world and you are curious about how companies get built and grow. Any startup exposure is a bonus, not a requirement.
- You're smart and you figure things out. You teach yourself hard things and reason through problems with no one holding your hand.
- You're fluent with AI and automation. You already use AI and automation tools and can build simple processes with it.
- You care about content. You have made things (written, filmed, posted) and you have a feel for what makes people stop and read.
- You communicate clearly and you are comfortable, or keen to get comfortable; happy to be on camera is a bonus.
Details:
- London preferred, but open to remote for exceptional candidates (the founders are in London and Lisbon).
- Flexible salary plus equity.
- Real room to grow into a bigger role.
- Trained and mentored directly by the founders.
How we work:
- Direct. We say what we think and skip the diplomacy.
- We say "no" more than "yes".
- We take the mission seriously, not ourselves.
- Work-life balance is real and boundaries are respected.
How to apply:
Apply through our application form. You will answer a few questions and tell us a bit about you.
Meet the founders:
- Andrew Crump - co-founder. A startup operator who built and exited in Silicon Valley, then spent years helping founders and VCs run better. He created the Core & Explore® methodology and is writing his first book, Startup OKRs.
- Nick Black - co-founder and product lead. A serial founder who exited his last company and runs a deep-tech consulting firm advising a handful of clients a year. One of the sharpest product minds you will meet.
