Senior Game UI/UX Designer

Obinex is a Pre-Seed stage Startup on a mission to develop a Centralized exchange and a Blockchain platform, both from scratch, utilizing gamification techniques and token yield to facilitate the adoption of a secure, centralized economy in the decentralized ecosystem. As we are in a very early stage, the equity offering is the only part of the compensation until we are funded (2 to 3 months).

We are looking for a Senior Game UI/UX Designer with expertise in Web3, crypto economies, and gamification, who can craft immersive, engaging, and visually stunning game interfaces for our CEX platform and blockchain ecosystem. This role requires a deep understanding of game psychology, UI flows, and player retention mechanics while ensuring a seamless crypto trading experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Game UX & Gamification – Design engaging game-like experiences for Web3 trading, rewards, and user progression.
• Game UI & Visual Aesthetics – Create high-fidelity interfaces that merge traditional gaming aesthetics with DeFi and CEX elements.
• Color Theory & Typography – Develop visually striking themes that enhance engagement, contrast, and readability.
• Crypto Dashboard & Player HUDs – Design interactive trading dashboards, token staking interfaces, and NFT reward systems.
• Microinteractions & Animations – Implement smooth transitions, interactive elements, and motion graphics to enhance the player experience.
• Design Systems & Components – Develop a scalable UI kit and reusable assets to maintain consistency across Web3 applications.
• Player Progression & Rewards – Design achievement systems, in-game incentives, and tokenized loyalty programs.
• Accessibility – Optimize UI for various screen modes and user accessibility needs.
• Web3 Integration – Design seamless wallet connections, token transactions, and NFT-based gaming interactions.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven experience as a Game UI/UX Designer in crypto, Web3 gaming, or fintech applications.
• Strong skills in game HUDs, interactive UI flows, and digital economies.
• Mastery of Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and game UI/UX tools.
• Deep understanding of Web3 mechanics, token staking, and NFT-based game incentives.
• Experience with gamification strategies to enhance user retention.
• Familiarity with smart contracts, digital wallets, and on-chain player transactions.
• Ability to adapt and iterate in a fast-moving startup environment.
