A leading, well known global mobility platform is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to manage UK employment legal matters in-house, with a strong focus on contentious work. Following a significant worker status ruling, you will take end-to-end ownership of Employment Tribunal claims, High Court proceedings, and multi-claimant disputes, while coordinating external counsel on complex litigation and managing general advisory work across HR and Operations.
The ideal candidate (England & Wales qualified) will have a proven track record in employment law and employment litigation (including multi-claimant or class-action style litigation), ideally with gig economy or worker status experience, a commercial mindset, and prior in-house exposure, though strong private practice candidates are welcome.
Start date: beginning of June
Duration: 3 month contract
Work pattern: full-time, hybrid (London)
