We have an exciting opportunity from our client, a fast-paced digital bank. They are seeking one lawyer to join their Retail banking team and two lawyers to join their SME banking team for 6 to 12 months. All roles are expected to start mid-September with 2–3 days office attendance in London.
Retail Banking Team
- Senior lawyer to support retail banking and payments matters on an interim basis.
- Join the Retail & Commercial Legal team and provide legal advice across the whole range of retail banking and payments matters, from product launches and development through to support with identification and management of any areas of non-compliance across the existing product set.
- Financial services experience with a particular focus on retail banking and payments.
SME Banking Team
- Senior and a mid-level lawyer with in-house and private practice experience in SME banking.
- Join the SME banking legal team reporting to the SME banking, Treasury and Lending Head of Legal.
- Support the SME banking business and other stakeholders handling day-to-day legal and regulatory matters, special projects and product launches.
- Advise on legal and regulatory matters, assess legal risk, and draft terms and conditions.
- Experience in retail lending matters is a bonus (but not necessary).
- Technical excellence with good commercial sense; ability to work independently and collaboratively and thrive in fast-paced environments.
