Hours: Monday to Friday 10:30am - 2:30pm

The Role

We are looking for a caring and reliable Nursery Lunch Time Helper to support our nursery team during busy lunch and afternoon periods. This role involves assisting children during meal times, helping maintain a calm and safe environment, and supporting children with afternoon rest and nap routines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children during lunch and snack times
  • Encourage positive eating habits and good table manners
  • Assist younger children with feeding where required
  • Prepare and tidy dining and activity areas before and after meals
  • Help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Support children with afternoon sleep and rest routines
  • Create a calm, comforting environment during nap times
  • Supervise children to ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times
  • Work closely with nursery practitioners and room staff
  • Follow nursery safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene procedures
