We’re looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a central government department, designing scalable data solutions within the Azure ecosystem.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing relational and dimensional data models to industry best practice
  • Defining data architecture patterns, standards, and governance
  • Translating business requirements into scalable Azure-based solutions
  • Advising on modern data patterns (e.g. medallion architecture)
  • Working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders across the programme

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong data modelling expertise (relational + dimensional)
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect (not just engineering)
  • Solid knowledge of Azure data platforms (e.g. Synapse, Data Factory, ADLS, Fabric)
  • Ability to design data patterns aligned to Azure
  • Active SC Clearance (DV a bonus)
