We’re looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a central government department, designing scalable data solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing relational and dimensional data models to industry best practice
- Defining data architecture patterns, standards, and governance
- Translating business requirements into scalable Azure-based solutions
- Advising on modern data patterns (e.g. medallion architecture)
- Working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders across the programme
What we’re looking for:
- Strong data modelling expertise (relational + dimensional)
- Proven experience as a Data Architect (not just engineering)
- Solid knowledge of Azure data platforms (e.g. Synapse, Data Factory, ADLS, Fabric)
- Ability to design data patterns aligned to Azure
- Active SC Clearance (DV a bonus)
