Oatsu's growing fast. With listings live in Ocado Retail and Selfridges, a Channel 4 TV ad under our belt, and more launches planned for 2026, we’re looking for a hands-on Content & Social Media Manager to work closely with our founder. This is an execution-first role for someone who can write great captions and email copy, take clear creative direction, and turn real moments into high-quality content.

This role requires working in person 1–2 days per week in Canary Wharf (and occasionally at events).

About the Role

We’re hiring a Freelance Content & Social Media Manager to work closely alongside our founder — often in person at WeWork or at events — capturing, creating and publishing social and email content that brings the Oatsu brand to life. This is a hands-on execution role, not a strategy or agency position. You’ll be embedded in the business, turning real moments (events, podcasts, launches, retail milestones and behind-the-scenes brand building) into engaging content, while managing posting, captions and basic community engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Content capture: Filming short-form video and imagery at events, meetings, podcasts and product shoots
  • Video editing: Turning raw footage into polished, on-brand short-form content (Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn) using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci
  • Copy & captions: Writing sharp, engaging, on-brand captions and marketing copy
  • Social media management: Publishing content across Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Community engagement: Responding to comments and messages in a thoughtful, brand-aligned way
  • Outreach & partnerships: Supporting outreach to brands, creators and events
  • Email marketing: Supporting the creation and sending of email campaigns (via Klaviyo) to customers, retail buyers and investors

Key Requirements

  • Excellent written English (native or near-native level)
  • Comfortable taking clear creative direction and executing content to a defined brief, tone and visual style
  • Confident editing short-form video independently (CapCut / Premiere Pro / DaVinci)
  • 3+ years’ experience creating and managing content for brands (food & drink a plus)
  • Experience creating email campaigns (B2B and B2C); Klaviyo experience a strong plus
  • Commercially minded — understands brand tone, audience and what performs
  • Proactive, reliable and comfortable working closely with a founder
  • London-based (or nearby), able to work in person at WeWork Canary Wharf and attend events

Where You’ll Work

Primarily in person at WeWork Canary Wharf (sometimes central London), with occasional event attendance.

Compensation

Day rate: £200 per day (guidance)
