Oatley Coffee is an independent neighbourhood coffee shop located in Hampton. We are looking for a barista who is eager to join this crazy, fun journey with us!
What You’ll Do
- Understand how to make the perfect brew (and latte art, of course).
- Uphold specialty coffee standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised work space and perform basic cleaning tasks.
- Restock supplies and manage inventory.
- Be committed to creating meaningful connections with customers and colleagues.
- Keep things running smoothly in the shop.
- Have the ability to uphold great customer service so our customers continue to come back.
- Answer any questions customers may have and be knowledgeable on all retail products sold in the coffee shop.
- Be willing to learn and understand the point of sales system.
Position Details and Benefits
- Free coffee during shift (fair usage policy applies).
- Open Monday to Sunday.
- Work on a rota system and everyone does their equal share of opening (6:30am) and closing (17:30pm) shifts.
- Additional Pay: Tips.
Experience
- Barista experience: 1 year (required).
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred).
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred).
