Our Gateshead team covers across the Tyne — Newcastle, Sunderland and parts of County Durham. We’ve built a strong local team of care assistants and live-in carers from communities across the North East.

  • Visiting older adults in their own homes across Gateshead and surrounding areas.
  • Personal care, medication, companionship.
  • Full training provided — no prior care experience needed.
  • Lead a small Gateshead team, manage care plans, support new starters.

Minimum 2 years care experience. NVQ Level 3 preferred or willing to work towards it within 6 months.

Work schedule: 2 weeks on / 1 week off rotation. Private bedroom and meal allowance. Single client at a time. Strong 1‑on‑1 carer relationship. No live‑in experience needed.

Our Gateshead team covers: Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Durham, Washington, Jarrow, South Shields, Whickham. Hospital discharge work is mostly from Queen Elizabeth Hospital Gateshead and Royal Victoria Infirmary. Office is based in Gateshead, and our care assistants typically work within their own neighbourhood — minimising travel time and maximising the relationships you build with the people you care for.
