Oath Healthcare is recruiting caring and reliable domiciliary care workers to support adults in their own homes across Cambridge and nearby villages. You will help people remain independent, safe, and comfortable at home by assisting with personal care, daily living tasks, and community access.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit service users in their homes following an agreed rota.
  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and continence care where required.
  • Support with medication in line with care plans and company policies.
  • Assist with meal preparation, fluids, household tasks, and shopping.
  • Offer companionship, emotional support, and encourage social activities.
  • Accurately record visits, observations, and any concerns, reporting to the office team.
  • Follow individual care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous domiciliary/homecare or care experience is desirable; full training can be provided for the right person.
  • Genuine compassion, good communication skills, and a professional attitude.
  • Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car for work is highly desirable.
  • Right to work in the UK, satisfactory references, and Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
