Job Title:Manager – Accountancy Practice
Location: Rochdale (Hybrid working available after 6 months probation)
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum

Our client is seeking an experiencedAccountancy Practice Managerto join their team. The successful candidate will be a chartered accountant with significant experience managing teams and client portfolios. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accountancy practice, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to deadlines.
Supervise and support a team of senior accountants, providing guidance on technical matters and career development.
Review financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance-related documentation for clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic advice and solutions to meet their business needs.
Lead the preparation of business plans, budgets, and forecasts for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Oversee the delivery of high-quality services to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, streamline operations, and ensure best practices are followed.
Manage staff performance, conducting regular reviews and providing mentorship to foster team development.
Monitor and manage workloads, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Work closely with senior management to implement the firms growth strategy and drive the business forward.
Stay up to date with changes in accounting legislation and industry trends, ensuring compliance and best practices.
Key Requirements:
Chartered Accountant qualification(ACCA, ACA, or CIPFA).
Minimum of 5 years experienceworking in an accountancy practice.
Proven experience managing and supervising senior accountants.
Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations.
Experience in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents.
Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proactive approach to identifying improvements and driving efficiency within the practice.
Desirable:
Experience with practice management software.
Experience in business advisory services.
Interest in continuous professional development and leadership training.
Additional Information:
Salary Range: £45,000 – £55,000 per annum.
