Oasis Software Solutions is looking for a Panel Wirer / Electrician to join them on a permanent basis at their site in Aberdare. You will be involved in carrying out the fitting and wiring of sub-assemblies and further installation into a variety of enclosures from small electrical control panels to large motor control centres/ICA sections. This role will be split between the workshop in Aberdare (building and wiring) and sites across the South / Mid of Wales and southwest (installation).

Your Key Duties Will Include:

  • Perform PLC wiring and panel assembly following schematic drawings.
  • Installing mounting rails, trunking, idents, and components onto metal backplates.
  • Fitting wired assemblies within boxes and large enclosures.
  • Torque setting screws and bolts using calibrated equipment.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
  • Complete relevant documentation including quality checks.

What Do You Need?

  • NVQ Level 3 qualified.
  • Demonstrable experience in electrical systems installation and panel wiring.
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical standards and regulations.
  • Fully qualified to 18th Edition.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
