We are seeking a dedicated Large Format Printing/Finishing Operative to join our dynamic production team. This role involves operating large-format printing equipment, performing finishing tasks and ensuring high-quality output for retail, event and office branding clients. The successful candidate will play a vital part in delivering exceptional graphics while maintaining efficient workflow within our busy workshop environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate large-format printers with precision, ensuring colour accuracy and print quality.
- Perform finishing tasks such as trimming, lamination, mounting, weeding and assembly of printed materials.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing and finishing equipment to minimise downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Assist with stock management, including inventory checks of printing supplies and finishing materials.
- Support the warehouse team with general duties as required to ensure smooth production flow.
Experience
- Previous experience in large format printing and finishing is essential.
- Operating large format printers, cutters and finishing equipment (E.g. SwissQ, HP Latex, Zund, Laminators, Vinyl Cutters or similar).
- Completing finishing tasks such as cutting, laminating, mounting and trimming.
- Maintaining equipment and supporting efficient production workflows.
Candidates should demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
