About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Food and Design Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan and implement high-quality practical and theoretical learning experiences that meet the needs of all students
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with Academy policies
- Contribute to the development of the Food and/or DT curriculum and enrichment opportunities
- Promote creativity, independence and problem-solving skills through practical learning
- Uphold the Oasis ethos and values in all aspects of Academy life
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS and a relevant degree (e.g. Food Technology, Design Technology or a related subject)
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Food and/or Design Technology
- Has experience teaching at Key Stages 3 and 4
- Is committed to achieving high standards for all students
- Possesses strong classroom and practical environment management skills
- Is organised, resilient and committed to professional development
- Possesses strong classroom and behaviour management skills
