We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Behaviour and SEMH Leader to join our team as a Senior Pastoral Manager leading our Internal Exclusion room. Inclusion is at the heart of our work at Oasis Academy Don Valley.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee learning and provide mentoring, guidance and support to individual students.
- Review students' progress on a daily basis and liaise with key staff, parents and other professionals.
- Work under the direction of the Head of Inclusion and the Alternative Provision Leader.
- Cooperate with mainstream teachers who contribute to teaching in the Reflection Room.
Qualifications:
- Ability to speak fluent English (covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016).
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people; undergo appropriate checks including enhanced Disclosure and Barring checks.
- Experience in pastoral or inclusive education settings is desirable.
