We are excited to be recruiting for a key leadership role within Oasis, supporting and developing our youth and community work across the South West and South Coast region. Reporting directly to the CEO of Oasis Community Partnerships, the Regional Youth and Community Director will provide strategic leadership across a diverse portfolio of community initiatives, helping to strengthen local delivery while contributing to the wider national vision of Oasis.

This influential role has three core areas of responsibility:

  • Strategic leadership and oversight of local Youth and Community teams
  • Regional development, working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Oasis family
  • National leadership, contributing as a member of the Oasis Youth and Community Leadership Team

The successful candidate will provide strategic management, accountability and support to local leaders and charity boards across the region. They will champion excellent community practice, enable sustainable growth, and ensure local teams are equipped to deliver meaningful impact within the communities they serve.

About Oasis: Oasis neighbourhoods are vibrant hubs of activity, bringing together integrated, high-quality services that support the whole person and the whole community. These services can include foodbanks, debt advice, family support, healthcare, youth work, children's work and education through Oasis Academies, alongside many other initiatives tailored to local needs.

Everything we do is inspired by the Oasis ethos, which is rooted in our Christian foundation and shapes how we work with one another and the communities we serve. Our ethos is expressed through:

  • A passion to include everyone
  • A desire to treat everyone equally and celebrate difference
  • A commitment to healthy and open relationships
  • A deep sense of hope that transformation is always possible
  • A spirit of perseverance and long-term commitment

The Youth and Community function plays a vital role in delivering this vision, working alongside colleagues from across the Oasis family to support thriving neighbourhoods and stronger communities. Oasis Community Partnerships is the national charity that provides leadership and support for this work, while local delivery is undertaken through individual Oasis charities embedded within their communities.

Why Join Us? This is a unique opportunity to join a growing national organisation that is transforming lives and communities across the UK. You'll have the chance to make a significant impact locally while helping to shape national strategy and direction.

We offer:

  • A contributory pension scheme with a 7% employer contribution
  • 25 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays
  • The opportunity to work within a values-led organisation committed to social transformation
  • Ongoing opportunities for professional and leadership development
