Job Overview

Oasis Academy Arena is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and caring Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive academy community.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to begin a rewarding career in education while gaining valuable hands on experience and working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you will help pupils access learning, develop confidence and independence, and make positive progress both academically and personally.

You will play an important role in supporting the wellbeing and achievement of all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teaching and learning within the classroom.
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups to support progress.
  • Assist pupils with SEND to access learning opportunities.
  • Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and inclusion.
  • Support the delivery of engaging learning activities.
  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff.
