Oasis Academy Long Cross is seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team for 22 hours per week. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), supporting them to access learning and flourish within their mainstream classroom environment.

Working closely with teachers, SEND professionals, and other support staff, you will play a key role in helping pupils engage successfully with their learning, develop confidence, and achieve their individual goals. You will provide tailored support that enables children to participate fully in school life while fostering independence and resilience.

Candidates will be expected to have at least an NVQ2 or equivalent qualification or be working towards this and experience of working with children in either a mainstream or special school provision.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
