About The Role
You will be a source of expert health and safety advice providing essential guidance and support to academies and national colleagues in meeting their health and safety responsibilities. Therefore experience in operational health and safety management is essential. You will also support the National H&S Lead to provide an exceptional health and safety service and maintain our health and safety management system resources. The role can be remote based or at our National Office, with the need for frequent travel to academies and external meetings as necessary for visible support and effective delivery of the job. The region currently covers our academies in London, Southampton and Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within health & safety and the education sector.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in operational health and safety management
- A sound understanding of health, safety and wellbeing in the education sector
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- The ability to coach, mentor and deliver training to staff
- A certified member of IOSH (or working towards)
- A confident user of ICT
- Aligned to the ethos and values of the organisation
- Due to the nature of this role, it is essential the successful candidate holds a UK driving licence and owns a car

Salary
SCP 39 - 43 £50,269 - £54,495 National. Travel expenses will be redeemable for academy visits.
