A superb opportunity for an experienced member of staff to join a well-established and supportive department whilst gaining experience within a Middle Leadership role. We are looking for a motivated and driven professional to join our team and teach and lead Design & Technology. The successful candidate will be a committed individual able to inspire and motivate our young people. In addition, the successful candidate needs to be a strong classroom practitioner with excellent subject knowledge who is able to deliver at both KS3 and KS4.
This appointment will also be an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop outstanding subject knowledge working under an excellent Director of Faculty who developed an exciting and fully resourced Design & Technology curriculum. We work hard to invest in the potential of new subject leads. Staff are very well supported in the Academy with weekly meetings focused on teaching and learning which are both vibrant and stimulating. Through your line manager you will receive high quality individual support and challenge to ensure that your teaching career develops further and you grow as an outstanding subject lead.
We offer a new Middle Leader training programme and the option to engage in bespoke Middle Leadership coaching to get you started on your next career step. You will be working under the guidance of an excellent Director of Creativity, Arts and Industries and a very supportive faculty team.
