We currently have a new opportunity for a dynamic and flexible Cover Supervisor to support our staff and students by delivering lessons and supervision for a fixed term period, to cover maternity leave working up to 33.5 hours per week, term time.
Overview
Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons and supervision for a fixed term period to cover maternity leave, working up to 33.5 hours per week, term time.
- Deploy classroom management skills to enable students to achieve lesson objectives.
- Provide appropriate support where needed and assist the wider faculty when teaching staff are otherwise engaged.
Qualifications
- Experience of working with students in an educational or service environment
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade C or above (including Maths and English)
- Solid communication skills and the ability to successfully manage classroom behaviour and focus
- Ability to prioritise and plan workload, delivering set lesson content effectively and efficiently and identifying opportunities for further support where appropriate
