Oasis Academy Brightstowe is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Physical Education to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality PE and sport, promoting health, wellbeing and engagement across the Academy.
About the Role
- Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan and implement high-quality learning experiences that meet the needs of all students
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress in line with Academy policies
- Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and extra-curricular sports provision
- Promote participation, teamwork and a positive attitude towards physical activity
- Uphold the Oasis ethos and values in all aspects of Academy life
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds QTS and a degree in a relevant subject
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for PE and sport
- Has experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4
- Is committed to achieving high standards for all students
- Possesses strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Is enthusiastic, resilient and committed to professional development
