At Oasis Academy Marksbury Road, we have a new position open for a School Meals Supervisory Assistant (SMSA) to join our lunchtime team, helping to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for our pupils during the midday break. This role is for 2 hours a day during term time. Inset days may be required for training.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pupils during the lunch period in the dining hall, promoting positive behaviour and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children.
  • Maintain a calm and friendly atmosphere, encourage good table manners, and support pupils in their play.
  • Respond to minor behavioural needs and report any concerns to senior staff.

  • Reliability and flexibility to support additional hours when needed.
