Learning Support Assistant OCL/NJC Scale Point 04 (Bristol Grade 5) + Local Government Pension Scheme

Salary SCP04-08 £25,878 - £26,824 FTE, actual starting salary £19,551

Permanent 32.5 hours per week, Term time only including INSET Days

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oasis Academy Long Cross for an enthusiastic and caring individual to provide support for learning activities on an individual or small group basis in our Academy, under the direction of the line manager.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable Learning Support Assistant to join our highly skilled team, who is committed to providing outstanding provision for children. We need a resilient, positive practitioner who shows a good understanding of child development and a clear knowledge of the curriculum. Experience in KS1 or lower KS2 is preferred.

Candidates will be expected to have at least an NVQ2 or equivalent qualification or be working towards this and experience of working with children in either a mainstream or special school provision.

The closing date is Tuesday 23rd June, interview dates will be confirmed.
