KS2 Teacher (Maternity cover)

Aspiring to give every child the best start in life, Oasis Academy Connaught is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our vibrant team.

Location: Oasis Academy Connaught (Bristol, England)

Start date: January 2026

Contract: Fixed Term until 31/08/2026

Salary: Main Pay Scale (M1 £32,916 – M6 £45,352) + Teachers’ Pension Scheme

Hours: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
• Foster a safe, purposeful, and stimulating learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external partners to ensure every child thrives.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people at all times.

Qualifications, skills and experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in KS2.
• A proven ability to raise standards and deliver high‑quality teaching.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.
• A positive, proactive approach to behaviour management and pupil progress.
