At Oasis Academy Marksbury Road, we have a new position open for a School Meals Supervisory Assistant (SMSA) to join our friendly lunchtime team, helping to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for our pupils during the midday break. This role is for 2 hours a day during term time. Please check our website for updated term dates; you will be required on inset days too for training.
Job overview:
- You'll be responsible for supervising pupils during the lunch period in the dining hall, promoting positive behaviour and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children.
- You'll help maintain a calm and friendly atmosphere, encourage good table manners, and support pupils in their play.
- You'll also be expected to respond to minor behavioural needs and report any concerns to senior staff.
