Interviews are planned for Monday 13th July at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road. We have a new position open for a School Meals Supervisory Assistant (SMSA) to join our friendly lunchtime team, helping to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for our pupils during the midday break. This role is for 2 hours a day during term time. You will be required on inset days too for training.
Job overview:
- You will be responsible for supervising pupils during the lunch period in the dining hall, promoting positive behaviour and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children.
- You will help maintain a calm and friendly atmosphere, encourage good table manners, and support pupils in their play.
- You will also be expected to respond to minor behavioural needs and report any concerns to senior staff.
Job requirements:
- Ability to engage positively with children and promote good behaviour.
- Reliability and flexibility to support additional hours when needed.
- Good communication skills and a caring approach.
