We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and inclusive teachers who are passionate about teaching and committed to providing the best possible education to our amazing children. We have 2 fixed-term 1-year posts available for September 2026.
About the Academy
At Oasis Academy Harpur Mount, we are incredibly proud to be able to provide education to our students in a beautiful and inspirational environment. The Academy is rich with history, built in 1904 and opened by Emmeline Pankhurst, it boasts cutting-edge equipment throughout. We aim to provide a safe, stimulating environment to help nurture the holistic development of our students, whilst maintaining excellent relationships with parents and the community. Applying a skills-based curriculum we want our students to feel equipped and confident about the next stages of their education, and harbour fond memories of their experiences at our Academy. We are extremely proud of our technology rich, research-informed curriculum offer and outcomes for our children prove our curriculum is strong.

We need you to be a positive and friendly team player and be dedicated to building strong relationships with families to boost achievement and wellbeing. It is vital you are committed to and skilled at helping children achieve, no matter what their starting point is. Our ideal candidate will be able to develop and maintain positive relationships, whilst embracing the challenge of working as a large team. At Oasis we aim to recruit individuals who display the competence and character to drive our schools towards success and have the highest of expectations believing in our student’s capabilities to succeed. We are looking for a positive role model who has proven experience of effective behaviour management and wants the very best for all children. Inclusion is a key strength of the Academy.
