Oasisplay is looking for enthusiastic
Freelance Creative Workshop Practitioners to deliver engaging and inclusive workshops in music, songwriting, music production, filmmaking, animation, photography, podcasting, digital media, visual arts and other creative disciplines.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and respected local charity working to improve the wellbeing and life chances of children and young people in Stockwell and the surrounding areas.
Working alongside our Playworkers and project staff, you'll create fun, accessible and inspiring creative experiences for disabled and non-disabled children and young people in a safe, inclusive environment.
Whether you're an experienced workshop facilitator or an industry professional looking to share your skills, we'd love to hear from you.
- Experience delivering creative workshops, activities or projects.
- Experience working with children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, patient and reliable approach.
- Commitment to inclusion, equality and safeguarding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with disabled children and young people.
- Professional experience within the creative industries.
- Experience delivering inclusive workshops.
- Special Requirements
- This role requires an
Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the DBS Update Service , or applicants must be willing to obtain one before delivering sessions.
- Successful applicants will be required to complete Oasisplay's safer recruitment process, including an application form, CV or portfolio, two satisfactory references and Right to Work checks.
- A Freelance Sessional Agreement must be signed before commencing work.
