Job Purpose: To support the Finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting, and analysis. This role is suited to a part-qualified accountant who is currently studying AAT or CIMA and is looking to further develop their accounting knowledge, commercial awareness, and technical finance skills within a fast-paced and growing organisation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Prepare accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support the management and monitoring of project data to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Support year-end processes and the preparation of audit information.
  • Assist with and support the implementation of new ERP software (COINS).
  • Provide financial data, analysis, and support to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and key external customers.
  • Ensure compliance with Group Policies across all financial transactions.
