We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our financial team.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organization’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledgers of multiple companies
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile intercompany balances
  • Manage bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Record day‑to‑day financial transactions (e. g., invoices, payments, expenses)
  • Posting journals
  • Assist with payroll preparation
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors as needed
  • Maintain and organise financial documentation
  • Monitor cash flow and update forecasts as required
  • Work to deadlines set by the board

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • Minimum 1 year using Xero
  • Proficient and experienced Excel user
  • Good timekeeping and accountability
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
