Finance Manager

Job Purpose: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a growing business in Daventry, supporting the finance function across three distinct businesses with different operating models. This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of core financial processes while managing and supporting a team of three. You will act as the key link between senior management and the finance team, providing guidance and oversight while also remaining involved in the day-to-day accounting activities. The role would suit a well-rounded finance professional who is comfortable working across multiple areas of finance, managing competing priorities and contributing to the continued development of the finance function. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and support a team of three within the finance function. Act as the link between senior management and the finance team, providing guidance, support and oversight. Maintain and reconcile general ledgers across multiple companies. Prepare and review monthly management accounts and trial balances. Complete and oversee balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare and post journals.
