We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated Cleaning Supervisor to oversee a team of cleaners at Oasis Academy Southbank. You will help supervise the work of the cleaning staff and allocate tasks accordingly. You will need to have supervisory experience and be able to oversee and undertake general cleaning duties.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the cleaning team to ensure a safe, healthy, and professional environment.
- Maintaining high cleaning standards and performing consistent quality control with Health and Safety and COSHH requirements.
- Reporting any relevant matters, dangers, or injuries to the appropriate persons.
- Being the main point of contact between the Academy Team and National Environmental Lead.
- Managing shortfalls in team capacity and reporting issues to the National Environmental Lead.
- Tracking and reporting sickness and absence.
- Ensuring orders for cleaning consumables are placed and reporting any issues with stock to the Site Manager and National Environmental Lead.
- Contributing to cleaning tasks during the school holiday period.
- Attending and completing essential Health and Safety courses or safeguarding courses as determined by the management of the school.
- Being aware of and complying with policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, health, safety, security, confidentiality, and data protection, and reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
