Oasis Academy New Oak currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to join the team as a SEN Teaching Assistant in 'The Orchard', our Autism Resource Base.
Job overview
You’ll have an enthusiasm for supporting learners with differentiated needs, providing learning support with a positive and inclusive outlook, and managing sometimes complex behaviours within a structured learning environment to ensure differently-abled learners can reach their full potential.
Requirements
- NVQ/VRQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent.
- Maths and English GCSE grade A* - C / 9-4 or Numeracy and Literacy Level 2 on the NQF or equivalent.
- Passion and commitment for supporting learners with specific needs.
- An empathetic, patient and tolerant demeanour.
- Key organisation and communication skills.
- Experience with managing complex behaviours and helping SEN learners to achieve.

Working Pattern
Term Time Only (including inset days). 39 Weeks per Year. 34.17 Hours per Week (34 Hours & 10 Minutes).
