We have an exciting opportunity for a current or aspiring Deputy Pastoral Head of Year to join our passionate and committed Pastoral team. As part of this role, you will support the Head of Year in managing a Year Group which focuses on the pastoral welfare of all students, communicating with families, collaborating with SLT, driving initiatives for good attendance and overseeing all matters around the behaviour and safeguarding of students. This is a fixed-term position which is term time only including INSET Days, Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (1x 15:30 finish per week). The end date of this role is 25.03.27.

We are looking for someone who can proactively support the Head of Year to lead, plan and deliver individual pathways; has high expectations, and will support the targeted intervention and tracking of our most vulnerable students, ensuring they make good or better progress. You must be willing to model and support the Oasis ethos.
